What Our Team Loves Most About Working at Lovelytics

At Lovelytics, our people are at the heart of everything we do. When we asked employees about their favorite part of working here, common themes quickly emerged: supportive teammates, challenging work, growth opportunities, and the chance to make a real impact. Here’s what they had to say.

The People

For many of the team, the best part of Lovelytics is simply the people they get to work with every day.

Alyssa Williams, Data Strategy Leader, “I’ve never been surrounded by a team with the same level of technical proficiency and willingness to train, mentor, and help others learn and grow.”

Evan Wang, Data Engineer, agreed, noting that “everyone here is very intelligent and high-achieving, but also extremely kind and willing to help.”

Because our business is built on people, we invest heavily in hiring the best consultants across every technical area.

Support and Collaboration

Not only are our people top notch, we also want to work with people we like who are supportive and collaborative.

“Success isn’t a zero-sum game—when one of us wins, we all win,” Alyssa added. We have a “winning” Slack channel to share successes throughout the week and celebrate the contributions of teammates.

Joely Friedman, Principal Consultant, Data Visualization, shared: “We’re always encouraged to contribute, collaborate, and communicate with one another.” That openness makes it easy to share ideas and learn from others.

Challenging and Meaningful Work

Our team thrives on solving complex data problems that matter. “You’re surrounded by a group of sharp, passionate folks who genuinely love solving tough data challenges,” said Deepak Rout, Architect of Data Engineering.

Solution Architect Tom Walsh echoed this sentiment: “The best part is working with the latest technologies on projects that really matter to clients. These aren’t side projects—they have real weight behind them.”

We pride ourselves on a culture of continuous learning with a focus on certifications, cross training, and more. Across the company, we have 13 Databricks Champions and MVPs, the highest level of certification Databricks consultants can reach. In fact, our own Rachel Sim was named 2025 Databricks Partner Champion of the Year, recognizing her as the top consultant for the Americas.

Variety, Flexibility, and Growth

Variety and flexibility keep work fresh and fulfilling.

Deepak Rout shared that living in Canada while supporting clients across the United States has expanded his professional experience: “The variety and flexibility make my work especially fulfilling.” Evan Wang added that “you can truly learn so much just from working and interacting with others,” emphasizing the growth opportunities that come from working alongside such a talented team.

At our size, consultants get to work across a variety of industries, tech stacks, and use cases.

Internal growth is also a major part of our culture. We offer mentoring across teams and also run Advance, our entry-level development program for recent graduates, early-career consultants, and career changers new to analytics. Participants start out in a multi-week bootcamp, getting them up to speed. After moving into real-life client facing projects, they continue for about 2–3 years in the program getting mentorship, training, and hands-on collaboration. Many of our current leaders started there, and we see it as the future of the company.

Join this Team!

No matter the role, our people thrive because of the culture, collaboration, and meaningful work they do every day.

Here, challenges are exciting, teammates are supportive, and success is always shared. If this sounds like the kind of culture you would want to work in, check out our open roles!
