Lovelytics’ long-term client, a leading medical device supplier that utilizes Microsoft Azure and Tableau Server, experienced minimal impact on their platform during the outage. Since taking over the account in 2021, Lovelytics has provided continuous infrastructure and analytics support, leading to a complete re-architecture of their Business Intelligence (BI) platform in 2023. Their new BI cluster, built according to Microsoft Azure and Tableau Server’s High Availability (HA) best practices, has significantly reduced downtime and improved stability and performance. The Tableau VizQL and Backgrounder workloads are distributed across multiple clustered virtual nodes, providing total service redundancy for the BI platform. Due to our HA system design, and the services of the Azure Load Balancer, the front-end Web UI remained 100% operational, providing real-time analytics to over 15,000 end viewers across numerous medical centers.

Another established client, a healthcare network of primary care providers, utilizing Microsoft Azure avoided any major production downtime due to their Managed Services Agreement (MSA) with Lovelytics, which previously implemented a disaster recovery plan coupled with multiple off-platform backups and SLA-defined response times. The production infrastructure was resilient and remained online throughout the Crowdstrike outage allowing our client’s platform to consistently deliver valuable analytics to their extensive network of medical centers and care facilities across the United States.
